Bune sau nu, experientele oamenilor internetului mi s-au parut intotdeauna utile. Nu reprezinta pentru mine dogme si nici nu ma regasesc mereu in experientele lor. Asta ca disclaimer :mrgreen:

Am gasit o discutie recenta despre influenta dietei vegana cruda low fat asupra ciclului menstrual.

Azi am iesit cu frate-miu sa alergam.

M-a tot batut la cap cu importanta respiratiei in timpul alergarii. Sa inspir rapid si sa expir mai lung, si sa fac asta in ritm constant. Sa imi aleg un picior pe care sa inspir, pe care sa expir si sa numar pasii. Constant.

Nu mi-a iesit ca la carte, dar in mod cert atat cat am reusit m-a ajutat sa rezist mai mult. Cand m-am oprit din alergat picioarele erau fresh, dar simteam o oboseala in piept, semn ca mai am de lucrat la ritmul respiratiei.

Vali a facut o adaptare dupa “Germenii mancarea miraculoasa” – Steve Meyerowitz aici.

Economie
Semintele isi pot multiplica de 5-15 ori greutatea. La 20 ron kilogramul de fasole mung, inseamna 3 ron kilogramul de plantute organice, proaspat germinate si crescute in casa. Tineti cont ca o portie zilnica minima de plantute mung inseamna cam 50 gr si costa 0.15 ron.

Nutritie
Germenii sunt plante tinere. In aceasta etapa din dezvoltarea lor, au o concentratie mai mare de proteine, vitamine, minerale, enzime, ARN, ADN, bioflavonoide, celule T etc, decat in orice alt moment al duratei lor de viata – chiar si comparativ cu leguma matura.

Organic
Fara chimicale, substante fumigante sau probleme legate de certificarea calitatii. Poti sa ai incredere ca totul este pur, deoarece tu insuti te-ai ocupat de cultivare.

Disponibilitate
In orice loc din lume, in ianuarie sau iulie, te bucuri de hrana proaspata oricand, oricunde, chiar si pe o barca sau cand pleci in excursie.

Spatiu si timp necesare
Este usor. Trebuie doar sa clatesti cu apa. Fara pamant, fara insecte. Nu ai nevoie de ingrasaminte sau lumina speciala. 200 gr boabe de fasole mung germinate incap intr-un castron si au nevoie de 2 minute de ingrijire pe zi.

Prospetime
Deoarece sunt culese in aceeasi zi in care sunt mancate, nu se pierd elementele nutritive care s-ar pierde daca ar sta in lazi sau pe rafturile magazinelor.

Digerabilitate
Pentru ca germenii sunt plante mici, peretii delicati ai celulelor elibereaza cu usurinta hrana proaspata. Partile lor nutritive exista in forma elementara si abundenta enzimelor le fac usor de digerat chiar si de catre cei cu o digestie proasta.

Diversitate
Mai multe varietati de salata decat gasesti pe rafturile magazinelor… inclusiv salata de hrisca, floarea-soarelui, cereale, varza, gulie, ridichi, trifoi, lucerna, usturoi, arpagic si multe altele. Salatele tale nu vor mai fi niciodata plictisitoare!

Mese
Poti face sosuri din oleaginoase (alune, nuci etc) germinate pe care le servesti cu usturoi, muraturi, felii de legume. Cerealele (grau, ovaz, quinoa, amatanth etc) si leguminoasele (fasole mung si adzuki, linte) germinate pot fi consumate in salate simple cu ceva condimente sau in salatele de legume, ori sub forma de suc in combinatie cu alte legume sau facute pasta si condimentate dupa gust. Tot din leguminoase germinate puteti face muraturi in saramura simpla (cruda). Semintele de verdeturi/legume (lucerna, hrisca, ridichi, varza, gulie etc) germinate le consumi in salata sau sub forma de suc.

Ecologie
Nu sunt necesare avioane pentru transportul alimentelor si nici nu se consuma benzina ca sa-ti fie livrata aceasta mancare. Nu exista pesticide pe baza de petrol si nici fertilizatori sintetici.

O colega de serviciu ma intreba foarte curioasa ce am mancat in ziua respectiva.

Azi de exemplu am mancat: 2 mere, 2 banane, un pumn plin de stafide, green smoothie (2 banane, 2 mere, o salata verde mare, un pumn de seminte de in), lapte de susan (seminte de susan lasate la inmuiat si apoi date prin blender + stafide), nuci de brazilia.

Mai incolo vor urma probabil linte si fasole mung incoltite, ce a ramas (0.5 L) din green smoothie-ul facut mai devreme, alune de padure.

Pentru ca e greu sa rontai toata ziua la frunze verzi si vreau totusi sa beneficiez de calitatile nutritive (multi ar spune si curative), am trecut pe green smoothies recent.

Switching to raw foods has changed my life and I firmly believe, after trying everything else, is the ultimate key for beating PCOS.

I tried supplements, dietary changes, Metformin, lots of exercise (not moderate, I am talking the Dr. H twice a day workouts and diet plan, I do Shaun T’s Insanity and adore it) and got no significant changes. I want to be clear here, I lost a very small amount of weight, gained muscle and cardiovascular health in a big way, but I did not lose anywhere near enough weight and I did not rid myself of the PCOS symptoms. No matter how I adjusted my caloric intake I simply didnt lose the fat until I made raw food a significant part of my diet.

I strongly encourage anyone struggling with PCOS to make a trip to the library and check out books about raw food and raw superfoods. I started sprouting, drinking green smoothies (youtube has many great instructional videos on how to make a good green smoothie), eating raw fruits and veggies, and continued my vigorous workouts. FINALLY, success.

One need not spend time in the kitchen making complex, gourmet raw meals…. one need not spend time dehydrating foods… truly, just using your blender in the morning and eating fruits and now and then a handfull of soaked nuts is all you do. You wont believe how easy it is. Even if you only incorporate the green smoothie in the morning and do nothing else you will notice changes right away.

I feel SO good. I have so much energy. I am nearly 30 lbs lighter. My periods are regular. My PMS is nearly gone. My mood is effortlessly optimistic. I sleep better. I no longer ruin shirts by permanently stinking up their armpits. The dark patches on my toes and armpits are nearly gone. I no longer bloat, my stomach is FLAT. I am not talking about abs, I have had strong tummy muscles ever since starting the Insanity workout. I am talking about the rounded tummy bloat we all love to hate. IT IS GONE. My skin looks great. I am growing more hair and it falls out so much less, my hairdresser noticed how much thicker it is. I honestly could go on and on, but you get the picture. I am walking and PCOS no longer dogs my steps…. I left it behind.

I feel so much for everyone still battling this syndrome, and I hope with all my heart that hearing the above will help you. I know the blow to your self esteem involved with trying so hard in so many ways and not seeing changes. Dont lose hope, there is an answer.

In addition to going to the library to read books about raw food by David Wolfe and other authors, do a search for keywords such as raw, sunfood, rejuvelac, enzymes and especially, alkaline body. I think systemic acidity is a huge contributing factor to PCOS.

De fiecare data cand merg la centrul de transfuzii sanguine din bucuresti ma scarbesc de conditiile pe care le vad acolo.
